Shark viewing and diving in Cape Town

We are Chris and Monique Fallows and we have been feeding our passion for Great White Sharks in Cape Town for the past decade.

Helping film over 40 documentaries have helped us understand and predict shark behaviour and shark habits at Seal Island. Our team's enthusiasm for the great white sharks will give you an opportunity to really get up close to the sharks and learn about these amazing creatures of the sea.

Chris and Monique Fallows: OWNERS

Chris and Monique are a dynamic husband and wife team. Chris discovered the shark behaviour at Seal Island in 1995 and they now have 12 working years experience here. Chris has also specialised in photographing sharks and many of his images are now world famous.

Chris and Monique are not only passionate about sharks but all aspects of nature. When hosting trips they are able to provide intimate knowledge of the area and other marine wildlife.

Poenas: SKIPPER AND CREW

Poenas is 28 years old and has led most of his life near or in the ocean. His family has a long history with the local seine net (treknet) fishermen and he grew up on the beaches interacting with all types of marine life, ranging from a wide variety of fish to large sharks.

Poenas impresses team members and guests alike with his passion for the sea and his understanding of the need for conservation of sharks. This colourful character on the boat will amaze you with his knowledge and passion as well as his excellent spotting eyes that do not miss much!

Sam: SKIPPER AND CREW

Sam also has a long family history with the sea and comes from a commercial fishing background and has seen the need for vitally important non- consumptive eco tourism.

As a skipper his seamanship is outstanding and can provide you with impressive information on marine life.

Our shark diving boat is designed to take you out to sea to experience the wonders of shark viewing and diving! The vessel of the boat is equipped with two new 140hp low emission 4 stroke engines and is capable of speeds in excess of 30 knots! Find out more about our shark diving boat
